the location was central making it easy to get around

our room overlooked the courtyard so the noise from the restaurant downstairs was quite loud late into the night this was especially bothersome a couple of nights

the building's architecture charmed me. the rooms were spacious and well-kept. the hotel included a gym, something i always appreciate having access to while i'm travelling. the pool was clean and inviting after a long day.

the elevator was a bit slow during peak hours.

The accommodation offered a generous size. I could walk to all the places i wanted to visit as the location is in the city centre. The bed had a split mattress. Very good kitchen facilities were available.

The person who booked me in made me feel like i was in somewhere too expensive for me so i felt OUT of place the whole stay.

The building's history and central location were definite highlights. i appreciated the spacious and very clean room. It included useful amenities. the pool, spa, and sauna added good bonus options to my stay..

the soundproofing wasn't perfect as i could hear some noise from the courtyard restaurant in the evenings. this wasn't a major issue but something i did notice.

i liked that the hotel is centrally located in the cbd. trams and busses are nearby and there are plenty of restaurants and coffee nearby too.

a huge issue was the lighting. it was ridiculously dark even with the amount of windows so made seeing rather difficult. also in one of the bedrooms there was a cracked window which was sealed with duct tape, not a good look!
